Any chance you could share more photos?

Your wish is my command Greg;)

Below are pictures of a Colorado blue spruce approximately 400 years old. This tree was collected high in the rockies, actually just about the tree line. Its age was approximated by a friend at a research lab with one of those microscopes that can pick up a pimple on a nat. He counted the rings on one of the branches that was pruned off. He came up with 268 life rings, and this branch came off close to the top. You can really tell its age just from the dead wood to tell that it is very old. This tree has not been cut down to size. This is the actual size when collected, talk about mother nature's power on dwarfing in a harsh enviroment. Future plans for this tree is to seperate the live wood from the dead wood on the root that kind of looks like a tail. Then to ever so gently try and tuck it back in to the trunk. This as well as trying to stimulate some root growth on it by soil damning the tail and other statigic points around the base. I included pictures of the spruce before and after its intial styling. I hesitate to use the word styling as all I wanted to do was to bring the branches into approximate position.

This tree inspires me. I don't know how to describe it - some trees have such power and character you feel honored just to work on them.
