This is my only yew, so far, and I haven't paid much attention to it in a awhile. I noticed theses brown/black bumps. Anyone know what they are? I looked up pest on taxus specifically but didn't see anything the same.

Rub the shields off and spray with insectcide is how i got rid of them they didnt die of spraying alone cus the shield protected them

Fletcher Scale I think.
I'm going to look in to a systemic treatment. They are literally at every branch crotch but I don't see any weaken/weakness in the tree. I went to Tony Tickles blog to see if I noticed anything with his yews. I did see a brown/dark area at the crotches of his yews but does not look like what I see on mine. It was time for my monthly Bayer 3in1 spray so I hit heavy. I'll keep a continued eye on it.
