The other resolution I tried to keep

In the thread “What will you do in 2022 to push your boundaries” my two resolutions were to get into making pots and Mame trees. Ive already posted my pot progress but I also looked through my home grown bits and earmarked some for potential mame development. I’ve just potted four of the litttle deciduous homegrowns for the first time. A long way to go but the start of a tinier than usual tree collection.

Your resolution was similar to mines. Even though I was already working with clay I wanted to get into mame as well. I am still designing a bench that is pleasing to the eye and will water my tiny tree’s several times a day. Missing a watering on those little guys can be bad. Great pottery by the way! Your tiny tree’s look great as well!

I would be really interested to see what you come up with. Mine are on benches next to the house in a sheltered spot in long shallow trays of wet gravel to maintain humidity. They seem quite happy all year round with a little additional frost protection in the very coldest winter weather
