Trees in nature: Inspiring Junipers

Having recently traveled to a couple of national Parks in Utah (USA), I couldn't resist photographing some native trees as visual references for future bonsai. Perhaps some of you might find them of interest, too.

This trees are the Utah juniper: Juniperus osteosperma (J.utahensis)

These junipers were found in Arches NP and Canyon Lands NP.

It is one of the window arches, but I would have guessed it to be the southern one.

This is my favorite tree. It's a natural literati bosai in a beautiful setting.
