Hump
Mame
(picked up 2 months ago, just now posting after taking pica today)
So while traveling for work, I found a small nursery and decided to stop. These two were sitting in an area off to the side under a table that said "not sell worthy or dying".
The one is some sort of boxwood and the other is a Barberry with a fat rough barked trunk, that has some great movement and nice leader potential.
The boxwood has branches that don't have leaves, and I'm unsure or not if they are dead branches or just not producing for some reason. Some yellowing of the leaves makes me think it was mistreated or suffered during the winter months. The trunk has some nice deadwood and could almost be hollowed out. (if it survives)
What do you think?
