Got a few pots from @BrightsideB ! Have been wanting some of his work for a while, really happy I finally pulled the trigger. They all look even better in person than they did in the listing.

There was a small gift pot included as well, but my wife quickly snatched it for herself so it's not pictured here 😂
Thanks for sharing! Glad you are happy with them! Glad your wife snagged up the gift pot!!! 😆

Last Saturday I received a package from Kinbon Japan containing 21 books in total.
I opted for the cheaper shipping by sea option because of the costs and it took about 2.5 months to arrive but I wasn't in a hurry.

At first I was searching for the books about pots and potters but then I found the Kinbon webshop and I couldn't resist ordering the other sets of books as well.
All books are written in Japanese but there are a lot of detailed pictures and drawings and they are a nice addition to my bonsai book collection.

These are the books I ordered for those who are interested:
- 1 set of 10 books about different tree species: https://bonsai.co.jp/products/detail/3629
- 1 set of 3 books about mini bonsai: https://bonsai.co.jp/products/detail/4311
- 1 set of 3 books about pines and shimpaku: https://bonsai.co.jp/products/detail/4312
- 1 set of 3 books about pots: https://bonsai.co.jp/products/detail/3630
- 1 set of 2 books about potters: https://bonsai.co.jp/products/detail/4342

A few years ago, I got tired of using a watering can for my fertilizer and bought a backpack sprayer to apply.

I finally got tired of the 30 minute a week application ritual that became and just bought and installed a dosatron-style fertilizer injector. This one is called a mixrite 571CW.

Excited to start playing around with some pH adjustments and fertilizer concentrates and will report back on progress.

That one is on my to-do list once I set up the new garden. Right now I am using a cheap transfer pump from Amazon. Started last weekend applying the lower dosage of RAW-NPK products. All-in-One Grow, Full-Up, Humic, Kelp, Cal-Mag, Silica, and Phosphorous. I am using a big mop bucket (5L) with wheels to make it easier to roll in the patio, but I have a bigger set up for the garden until I set up the Dosatron using this pump and a larger 10 gal tank.

Wow. I am ashamed to say that I have zero bonsai books!

Sunday 4th August, Staverton Bonsai Boot sale, at Westbury, Wilts, UK. No intention to buy anything - especially any trees... Couldn't resist although I did walk away from it - only to feel committed to go back
