Post some pics of any new bonsai or project tree, Yamadori/urban..etc you may have added to your collection this year. I myself have only added one tree this year, it's a huge monster Yew that my girlfriends parents no longer wanted in their front yard. It's 50+ years old easy. I am going to let it rest for a couple of years and hopefully it will backbud in far enough so I can chase the foliage back. That is the largest concrete tub The Home depot sells that it's potted in, and also that's a 2 liter bottle in the picture for reference.

Hey Nomiyama,
I've also added one more tree to my collection! As well as starting seeds of Cedars (libani and brevifolia), Pomegranates ('Wonderful' cultivar), JW Pines (unsuccessful, :() and Japanese Maples (haven't come up yet), I got a 'Zuisho' white pine from Julian Adams (adamsbonsai.com) and that'll be at LEAST a 10 year project, if not more. It looks healthy but I need to get the diameter up before it'll be anything that I can do something with. Here's a picture of when I got it.

David

PS: That yew is HUUUUUUUUGE!!!! Good luck with that one...I wouldn't even try LOL!!!

Here are four trees I picked up this winter at various nurseries. The Black pine and trident came from Muranaka Bonsai nursery (which sell four or five items a week on e-bay). The other trees are a barberry (Home Depot) and a holly (landscape nursery). The trident and barberry have leafed out considerably since these photos were taken.

Amur maple stump, field grown in my backyard, dug this spring. About 10 inch base, 18 inch rootspread. This tree has buds all over it now.
