Worried about this Kashima maple

This stuff spreads by using infected tools and sometimes infected soil. Basically if they were just in thr same room with no contact then they should be fine.....the tree I destroyed didnt infect others so dont be overly alarmed.
So I don't have to burn down the building. Thank you. I didn't do any work on the trees yet so hopefully they are safe. And now I will take tools cleaning more seriously

I have 3 of these, repotted sitting in my garage. I only see black in at tips of pruned areas where I would expect dieback to the next node. So far so good. I have Daconil, neem oil, mancozeb, and Bayer 3-1. What should I spray as a preventative measure?

Since we reconstructed the landscape the field rep does not think it is needed and the Agri Center agrees. I still do a Spray application in the Spring on the soil/mulch surfaces manly because I bought a 2 pound bag and the product goes a long way. Also, I am a little uneasy even going into the third season. The disease is bacterial.

For the record in all of our potted trees and plants we have grown since I do mix a Sulfur solution and drench the Soil/Substrate in the Spring, Summer, and Fall. We have not had any other problems since that are fungal related. That is a different topic but I see it as an inexpensive preventative for fungal related issues.

@GrimLore, could you elaborate on the dilution of the Sulfur and how to apply it for all of us newbies?

Sure thing! I started this treatment on Fruit trees potted a few years ago to break the Cedar rust cycle and the results were impressive so I have since tried it on a LARGE variety of plants with no ill effect and have only seen fungal issues on new plants which I isolate and treat normally with Daconil and Sulfur - it works.

Once fungal free I have simply been using the Sulfur as a preventative. I mix two tablespoons in a one gallon container of water and shake it a few times to mix. I then water the plants one time in Spring, Summer, and Fall. Crystal can verify the results are great and has me doing the same with her garden Flora...

If you get it on a trunk or branch simply rinse it off with water so it does not whiten. I also use it like a paste when removing moss from trunks and such but that is a different topic. Point is Sulfur is inexpensive, natural, and has a few uses.

This is the powder I use but any brand powder that is labeled 90 percent Sulfur works fine. This one is available at a lot of places and usually costs 8.99 - 9.99USD for the one pound container which goes a LONG way. I know of no place it is restricted from use as it is harmless -
