What’s your latest Bonsai related purchase?

They are asking 170 for a 100 ft . Why more than double the 50 ft ? This is the issue with today’s corporations .
Wow! I got one of the 100ft a couple years ago and was something like $80 if I recall. No signs of significant breakage, so well worth it, just very surprised the prices have gone up like that.

I bought a Scots Pine that was grown by Telperion Farms. It was dug from their growing fields 10 years ago and owned by a lovely couple down around Eugene, OR. It has been styled by Bobby Curtright at some point.

Its needles are a little yellow from a lack of fertilizer. The former owner was focused on keeping the needles short.

I have a wiring project ahead of me! At present it’s 32" tall and 36" wide with a 6" diameter trunk.

I just might have a chat with one of our local ceramicists to make this a 100% Oregon tree 😉

After reading through the watering wand thread and seeing the melnor wand in bill valvanis’s blog, I went out and picked one up. This thing is a pretty sweet wand for $13

It even does a good job at less than half open

Great to see you're taking care of your trees teeth. ;) I can't get mine to rinse and spit.
I really only wanted a couple of the sharp ones, but the set was cheaper than individuals.

I'll give the mirror and spreader thing to my kids.

Got a few pots from @BrightsideB ! Have been wanting some of his work for a while, really happy I finally pulled the trigger. They all look even better in person than they did in the listing.

There was a small gift pot included as well, but my wife quickly snatched it for herself so it's not pictured here 😂
