I'm just excited that Chicago is getting some bonsai love. I would think the area could support more nurseries / bonsai retail given the size of the bonsai community, but when I lived there things were pretty bleak.

I definitely returned to bonsai at the correct time for the Midwest and my life. Trees are coming! The scene will grow and become stronger with better trees, horticulture skill, & a quality instructors.
