All collected by Randy Knight, and selected by Walter Pall.

It feels like an early or late Christmas gift is coming!

Will follow up with photos tomorrow!

It's seriously a nice place with competent people floating around.

Could one hunt and peck for cheaper bonsai and supplies?

Probably.

But you wouldn't be supporting a local commercial hub of bonsai activity. Amazon.com is not going to help you trouble shoot, board your tree, have trees right there in the flesh to check out.

I'd be rudderless if they went under.

2. Randy sends a truck “back East” each year
3. Walter Pall must have had some influence on what was chosen for shipment this year (this part of it was previously unknown to me)
4. The trees in the truck have (maybe?) been seen by Walter

It’s a bit of a tenuous connection and only this year, afaik. I’m being a little vague as I have personal, but secondhand knowledge of this.

I never knew that Jennifer Price was from here, but if you look through some WP blog content, and watch a couple videos, all the dots come together as to why this is going on here.

Plus THG is a beautiful place, with great people!

Now I know I'm talking too much!

I'm nervous about robbing this truck!

These things NEVER work out for me!

Now I gotta rub some feet to get hands on some "money we gotta save"....

Even though most of the RMJs were marked as SOLD when I picked mine up, there were some fantastic yamadori examples among them. If you get there early you should be able to find a real beauty. I'll have to check out his blog a bit more.

Just to clarify.

Clean and straight forward.

Walter Pall picks the trees.
Sends them east.
Randy collected the trees.
Hidden garden & Nature's way receive the trees.
