Scott, glad to know you are OK. We are safe too and spared from flooding, yet. Just checked out Horsepen Creek which runs through our neighborhood, a few feet from overflowing. Saw a guy fishing by the bridge while most of Houston suffers!

It makes sense that a good geologist would own a home on high ground if he lived in a flood zone!Thank you Alain. We've been very fortunate to have been spared damage to our home, but have many close friends that have not. It's still raining hard in Houston, so I fear that the water levels are still on the way up.
