Your contribution to what?
Well, for you to be eating crepes instead of sourkraut? The U.S. did help liberate France from Germany, twice.
.
Quite right.
In both cases they waited first to be attacked, second to be sure that their own interests came first.
Lusitania, Pearl Harbor.
But yes, thanks. Jazz, and all the black musicians and writers who found a place where they could be treated as equal, could seat at the same table, be friend and even marry and have children regardless of their origins or skin coliur or religion. Thank you for sending us your poor, your destitute, ...
The love of money? Obesity? How to topple democraticly elected governments to put in place religious dictatorships like you did all through the 20th century, and before, to serve your own petty interests, then try to fight them for the benefit of a few happy ones?
You (I don't mean all US citizens, but people like you) have been the major source of conflicts and wars for decades, so you'd better put it down.
The pot calling the kettle black? France, as well as others, has a long history of conquest for the love of money, albeit mostly long ago. But it is there, none the less.
Right again.
A former prsident of ours (a little one) even convinced the US to back an attack against terrorism (actually, a way of avoiding question about the funding of his campaign I think). It actually started the kind of terrorist cancer that the US sowed in Iran from the 50s, then in various parts of the world, always with short-term profits for the war industry, often at the expense of its youth, never to gain any power (Shall I name the places?)
People like you are sinking in dirty, muddy waters and you don't even realize it. Because those who put this administration into power, I shoulkd say this family (like the way they understand it in Sicilia) are just either totally stupid, or criminals.
Maybe those who put this one in power see differently. Have you always been happy with your political leaders?
Well, you can disagree with the policies of a chief of state, and I have, but I've never had to argue against a liar or a crook, I mean, not ever to that extent.
"Truth is lies war is peace"
I don't think that DDT has ever read 1984, and I'm afraid it's almost an insult if I ask some here if they've read it, but it's just what it is in the "Great brother"'s world. Fake news is the truth. Imbeciles rule. Amerikka great again.
I also think that most people contributing to this forum are white, at least middle-aged, upper-middle-class people, and that the most extremist opinions here are not the voice of all citizens in the US.
You might just be surprised how many agree with "extremist" opinions. I would be willing to speculate that most of the middle class has "extremist" opinions in your eyes. But you are probably right, the middle class is getting smaller and when we are gone, there goes the rest of the country's free lunch.
Well, when I wrote "extremist", I meant far-right of course.
"the middle class is getting smaller and when we are gone, there goes the rest of the country's free lunch."
The world’s eight richest billionaires control the same wealth between them as the poorest half of the globe’s population:

If you're satisfied with this world, I'm not. You want to preserve a world where some thank for the crumbs they get from the few, while billiond starve? I don't.
And I don't need a god for that when I see what any god or whatsisname is the alibi for injustice.
I used to believe in the message of Jesus when I was a child. That's perhaps why as an adult, who now knows that religion is pure fary tales, I'm a "socialist".
