Erik's work is definitely great and yours look amazing too. If you have any more you are happy to share I'm interested in seeing them, something I would like to try out one day.
 
Beautiful work. I've made several hypertufa pots w/ concrete and peat... but nothing as cool as this. What kind of cement do you use? Did you actually apply in in layers or just carve the edges to create the rock illusion. I'd love to see like a timelapse video of your work!

I grind 2 holes next to each other for wire after 2 weeks when the concreet is solid and hard. I tried loops, but the roots will attach. Thats annoying in my opinion.

I use aluminum cement. And it is indeed layer on layer, it tried carving but it doesn't work for me. Perhaps it works with tile adhesive (tile glue??)
