Watering ..I hate watering but I have to.

WOW! That's incredible, how people are different.
I just love watering my trees, and I do it twice a day around here. It's always a good time for me, the smell, the droplets, the spray of the japanese hose...
I really enjoy it!

Hate is a strong word,

That's the English language.
In Portuguese the same word has a much softer meaning, like "profound dislike", but I couldn't find the right one word to translate it into English.
Lost in translation, sorry.

Well...if all my trees are in one spot and not so far from each other I wouldn't mind so much, but my backyard has lots of mature trees so full sun is at a premium so I have to drag my hose to 3 diff location to water that's why I don't like it. It's time consuming.

Sawing through thick, dense, HEAVY nursery rootballs and finding that the tree was planted in a large container with hessian and wire still intact. really fecks up the bow saw blade, luckily this one didnt have the wire still in it.
it can be rewarding once all the hard work is done tho

Ohw, yeah. Share this feeling. I have too many blunt saws to only then realize.. The replacement blades are flimsy quality!

For me, copper wire has to be the worst nightmare.
Specially if you use the wrong gauge, bigger than the branch needs.
Wire it in place. Hard as steel. By the middle of the branch, you are turning the branch around the damn thing, and not the other way around. Unwire. The bends stay there. Throw away. Start again.

Waiting. And not know when is the best time to work on what.

I used to hate buying pots... one of my favorite things now. I used to hate wiring... one of my favorite things now. I used to hate unwiring... definitely not one of my favorite things now but I enjoy the transformation that comes with wiring and unwiring brings me closer to the next metamorphosis. The thing I hate most about bonsai... disease and pestilence... and in particular spider mites (though fungus is a close second).
