Your wiring is mesmerizing. Stunning tree,,,love how you capture true depth by the angles you show. The lichen an added beauty. Well done, always a pleasure to view your photography of your trees.

Excellent work !

Most of the time, i(m not so fond of "unrealistic" trees, but this one works, for me.

Thanks Alain! Well not totally unrealistic. There are some bald cypress that weep.

One of the Milwaukee Bonsai Society members has a T. huegelii (the Mexican version of Bald Cypress), and he similarly trained it as a weeping tree. It really works for bald cypress. Some of you might have seen it at the August 2018 show at the Chicago Botanic Garden.

A weeping style, done well, really works for a bald cypress. But I know what my local guy has to go through to keep the tree wired to the style. It is many hours of work. My hat is off to you, well done.

This one is done REALLY well. I was able to see it in person at the silhouette show. It is stunning. @MACH5: Where does the line start to purchase this one once you're bored with it? :D

LOL thanks @-norwegian_blue-! This is one that I will keep, at least in the foreseeable future. I like to keep developing it and see how far I can take it. Sorry did we meet at the Winter Silhouette show?

I don't blame you! No, we didn't meet. I'll likely be at the shohin show in June. Hope to see you there!

Early winter update. Working towards a denser canopy. Next spring I plan on cutting back some areas drastically to develop shorter branch segments and create bifurcation closer to the trunk. I did not cut back as diligently this past year to allow primary branches to thicken. Lower branches will be left to grow longer to thicken them up as they are still too thin. Fun experimenting with this style but it is demanding!

I love your work Serg. You have the knowledge to make trees look fantastic. Your detail work with wiring is spot on. The ability to mold a tree into a design that is very tasteful, and believable is amazing.
I'm so new to the game I shouldn't say anything. But it's just off to me somehow. I love the Flattop look. Even the young BC triangular Pine look. Is something I find cool looking. This one is just off to me some how. Don't get me wrong, I love your work. You have years of experience, and the ability to turn out a tree like this. Is just mind blowing to me.

But these trees don't look like this in nature. These are pics I've taken here around Savannah.
