Hey everyone! Lookin like all the big events are happening on the east or west coast. Does anyone know of any big events happening anywhere in the middle?
Thanks

“big” might be a relative term, but at least it’s in your state!big events happening anywhere in the middle?
Yes I remember that one. I was in a wedding that weekend. Wanted to make it so bad. There was one last year in Collinsville IL. Other than that the closest would probably be up by Chicago, so not close.
Is this event every year, have you been?“big” might be a relative term, but at least it’s in your state!

I try to go to the St. Louis botanical gardens for the Japanese show every year if I don’t forget about it. So much going on and I don’t ever hear about the show that a lot of times it flies by and I missed it!The Midwest Bonsai Society's August show is great, definitely recommend checking it out next year.
The St. Louis club has our local show at the Japanese Festival at the Missouri Botanical Gardens every year. Not the same as far as workshops and vendors, but there are some good trees there and a sales tent as well.
Also, keep an ear out for St. Louis in 2027....something is brewing.
It's labor day weekend every year. Last year I think around 20,000 people attended the festival, so it's not a secret.I try to go to the St. Louis botanical gardens for the Japanese show every year if I don’t forget about it.
