#17: 1 1/4" X 14" X 23", Four Views: Finished side (center two pix) with wax in cracks that someone can get out of fill over, and unfinished side (first and last pix) rough sanded only - ready for your expertise! - $350.

That's it for the Australian eucalyptus burls. I'll be loading about a half dozen burls from American trees, probably later today.

#26. Big Leaf Maple: 1 1/2" X 12" X 32", Varnished - $100.

#27. Maple, Unknown Type: 1" X 12" X 16", Varnished. Small, but gorgeous. Probably my favorite, and certainly the slab I've used the most to display my bonsai on BNut. $250.

#29. Coastal Redwood: 1 1/2" X 13" X 17", A great example of why not to use even high quality lacquer! This will easily sand down again, though, at which point I'd leave it untreated, or use a fine, multi-coat hand-rubbed varnish, as in #30 below. $200.

#30. Coastal Redwood: 2" X 19" X 22", Varnished. A bit thick, but hard to argue with the beauty of the wood - $350.

#28. Madrona: 2 1/4" X 12" X 12", merely sanded to a very fine degree, and buffed with high quality car wax. Madrona burls are not uncommon on the trees up here, but almost never seen in woodworking, due to their almost impossible hardness. Someone with great skill and tools would be needed to cut this into 2 or 3 thinner slabs, as it should be. As it is now, it still has something of a pleasing and unusual quality that may appeal to someone. A small cascade or such may look quite nice perched up on it - $200.

That's it - all the burls I'm offering for sale. Enjoy.
