Here my Caitlin elm. What do y'all think.
It's pretty small. Only about 3/4-1 inch trunk size. I hchopped it last year to make it into a shohin cascade.

what is your camera focused on? and are you going to pot it up? that would be cool on a nice upright rock i think.

or single out an upright branch to go sacrifice for a few years...

I like it though. keep us posted

I like it, needs a new pot though. Looks like a nice little cascade to me. Catlins are great plants too, in the south they are nearly evergreen.

yes, I plan to pot it in the spring. i think it will may a nice cascade. It was an ugly S shape tree that I got at a nursery in CA.

Pic was taken with my phone, I need to learn to take better pics with a better background.

Ive got some dooseys on my hard-drive too. One time my toddler got the camera out of my bag, and took about 3 gigs of pics before the card was full... either he is a genius, or the autofocus tech. on those things is amazing! never thought I would see tomas the tank enine from fifty different angles.

Some of those shots are priceless looks at the world through the eyes of a 2-year-old. I have a few keepers, from his self portrait entitled "my feet" to a still life study entitled, "I ate almost all of this bowl of cereal", and wildlife shots, "grass at a running speed" and "inside my dog's nose".

Did you chop it to remove the "s" ? If so I hope you saved the base, it'd make a nice little stump itself.

Might want to pull the weeds from the pot. All they do is take food that the tree could use.
