I was really hoping for a white Christmas but all the rain yesterday melted it away. Sadly no snow today :-(
We got 6-7", but the day started out yesterday raining, all day, then a flash freeze as it turned to snow,
so I went out and scraped the windows on our cars and tugged the doors open a few times
so it would not be a block of ice today. Worked like a charm :)

While I don't have much in actual pots I'm feeling more and more like I should have buried some of what I have. This winter has already been all over the place. Hope everything survives.

Thanks, the only one I’m concerned with is my Mt Maple that didn’t do much at all this year
but I got it covered in a bank of snow on the ground.

Hope that does the trick.

I took down my Christmas Village today and put up a fairy garden just for fun.
You'll have to add a magic waterfall LOL.
In-laws gave us some $ for Christmas and I spent the day yesterday shopping
for trains after my wife asked me to build some kind of display area for our hodge podge
village collection. I really like the Lemax boxing and stretchy velcro strapping for storage
but the Studio 56 collection is my favourite so far. Almost bought a set of 3 from UK
came from an estate sale on line but wasn't lit, and a bit too small, but very detailed.
At least I now have something to work with :)

Always funny reading something by someone and realizing you have no clue what they are on about!

The waterfall for Carols fairy garden
Didn’t buy the 3 from the UK because they weren’t lighted/lit
but now since I got the ones I posted earlier, for my wife
I have to make a display area for them.
Those new pieces + the train gives me a good starting point
for the Christmas village next year...

Oh yeah!!! That’s what I’m talking about!

There. She found this house/cabin on the right at Cracker Barrel yesterday.
No idea where she got the red one at. It uses pine cone seed scales for the roof
and upside down fake branch tips for pine trees. I like it, but I don't like eating on the new
furry placemats. Too plush really.
As you can see, our new table is still without the trestle...

I guess it's time to take down the fairy garden and get the Christmas village up!

Too early for this crap. 😒
It's not tomorrow yet. 😏

One holiday at a time, people!
One glorious holiday at after another, at a time.
If it only began at the store this way.
Have to catch the fish while they’re biting.
Lowes only had 2 wreaths like this that I got for my moms door
at the facility she’s living in

We are going to add another strand of LED lights on it and hang it for her today.
The candle in the lantern flickers.

When I start moving my bonsai off the porch, under my sun room in December, we will start putting up decorations.

Today, we get the Christmas tree up in the living room 😄
