Guys i have been looking around for some dvd tutorials but unfortunatley i am not finding much, i got 1 from ebay but it is only introduction i wanted something more specific. Do you know any other sits whre i can get some tutorials?

Within a few days I will have my DVD available. It has been 8 years in the making ( several long stories!).
It is almost 3 1/2 hours in length and starts with a short explaination of bonsai and the five basic styles. Then , in segments, I create a ficus bonsai from a LARGE bonsai nursery STOCK plant from cut back, through wiring and styling and finally potting.
It is followed by a one-year later update, shots of my Ohio garden and tips on watering a collection.
It was originally done in 4 segments and shown on a Columbus PBS station. ater we added the updates and other instructions.
I look a little younger in it but I think it was worth a wait ( OK, not THAT long of a wait! )
It should be great for beginner through moderately experienced.

When I actually have them in my hands in a couple days I can give some more details.

Wow Dale. I can't wait to get my hands on that.

I finally got some in hand today. I'm not crazy about the front cover of the case but I'm working on a better idea with the guy doing all that technical stuff. But the video is pretty good and full of a LOT of good styling info.
Anyway, they will be $24.95 plus $5 shipping/handling.

I'll be gone to the Puerto Rico WBFF convention until Tuesday 14th, after that I can take orders from anyone wishing they could watch me work and talk for about 3+ hours!

Back from Puerto Rico...
Hitting "Rum Detox Center" today....

The bummer part....foot surgery and an unexpected accident and subsequent followup minor foot surgery ( same F-ing foot!) at the VA clinic THE DAY BEFORE I LEFT meant NO swimming in pools, hot tubs or beach sand.
Have you ever seen a grown man cry into his snorkle?!

Anyway, sold all but one , more on way right now.

Finally finished viewing the DVD " The Art Of Sculpting Dwarf Trees with Dale Cochoy" Must say that as a beginner to Bonsai, I find it to be a valuable instructional tool in my journey into the art of Bonsai. The DVD is broken down into 4 parts .Styling, Sculpting,Wiring,and Potting and Watering.There is also an update that shows the tree a year later. Beautiful. Dale used a Ficus Benjamina for this DVD.The whole DVD ran for almost 3 1/2 hours. I have seen these techniques done at my Bonsai club meetings a few times, but with this DVD I am able to go to any one of the parts shown on the dvd and basically review what I saw at the meetings but wasnt sure about or may have forgotten.I have also picked up alot of new tips. I am sure that any beginner like myself or the more advanced will benefit greatly from this dvd. Get one , you'll be glad you did.Thanks Dale for a very helpful, very informative dvd.
