Maybe a little Mir-acid.Ignore the ugly leaves, I think after the air layer it was having trouble getting what it needed
I've normally just used bougain, but I did pick up some miracid recently too. Haven't used it yet, but maybe I'll try some today.Maybe a little Mir-acid.
You have inspired me to bring in a few from the patio this year. They're nothing much, but I have flowers!Lantana getting to another level.

This one was rescued from a funeral bouquet. Putting it into bonsai soil made an amazing difference in its health. Funny it didn’t bloom much over the summer. Is the flowering more seasonal?? Don’t know much about them. You have inspired me to bring in a few from the patio this year. They're nothing much, but I have flowers!![]()
My yard volunteers are flowering now --This one was rescued from a funeral bouquet. Putting it into bonsai soil made an amazing difference in its health. Funny it didn’t bloom much over the summer. Is the flowering more seasonal?? Don’t know much about them.
Mine bloomed all summer and are blooming indoors now. I think as long as they are getting enough light, they will bloom. Is the flowering more seasonal??
I suspect that's true -- we had a really dry spring, and less rainy summer than might've been -- so the survivors are making up for lost time.Mine bloomed all summer and are blooming indoors now. I think as long as they are getting enough light, they will bloom.
I'm curious, was it a cutting, when you began -- and if so, how small? This one was rescued from a funeral bouquet.
Actually it was in potting soil along with some other potted plants and not very healthy. My wife saved them from the bin and I later noticed what it was. Thought I'd give it a try. It was cut back in the spring and did bloom all summer, although pretty meager. When I brought it in is when the blooms really started taking off, which is why I was wondering about a "blooming season". I have seen some real chubby ones in warmer climates, in the ground, but no experience with layering them.I suspect that's true -- we had a really dry spring, and less rainy summer than might've been -- so the survivors are making up for lost time.

(Hoping some of my prospects won't need to be air-layered!)
That's one thing they will not tolerate well, drying out. I thought for sure I had lost two when we were on vacation. They eventually bounced back, but it was iffy for awhile.we had a really dry spring, and less rainy summer than might've been
