Hi guys I recently found a good deal on a Hinoki cypress and thought what the heck, try it out.
The tree measures roughly 42 inches tall and I’m planning to cut back and create a new apex at some point but I wanted to get your thoughts on initial advice. There are 3 main trunks and I’m thinking of doing a twin trunk tree possibly.

There’s so much foliage it’s a little tough to see the trunks but I’ve outlined them in blue. I’ve also put some red marks I was thinking of cutting at (at a later date).

This side of the tree would make a good front I feel. It actually has very little front branches coming off the main trunk. The branches are just wrapping around so it covers up a lot.

Lots of foliage and deep growth. I’ll probably do some light pruning to open it up and wiring the branches in place but i wanted to hear your guys thoughts first. It’s my first attempt at styling a tree from scratch. Fingers crossed

I should also mention the main trunk and right trunk are both very straight. The left one that I was thinking of cutting is shorter and not as straight.
