Is this literati? Does anyone really know?
Yeah, if you want to, it's a literati.
If you want it to be a bunjin, that's fine too.
If you want it to be an informal upright, be my guest.
If you want it to be a formal upright, slap a tie on it.

The Japanese call Donald Duck "Donorru Ducku" so I feel like we can call a tree whatever we want.
To me it looks like a Betsy; solid bottom, slender top.
What I'm sure about is that it's not a Fiona.

Also, I don't get the bonsai tool showcasing. Like, yeah, you have some single-purpose hardware, to show you're super cereal you guys about bonsai, and you used it too? Wow, that's great. Please take pictures and videos. The people visiting your shed will love the story about how some Japanese craftsperson folded them a gazillion times and worked them like a Swiss watchmaker for twelve days in the rainy month of March, shipped it in a handcrafted cedar wooden box with bamboo shavings to a US reseller who shipped it to you for 160 dollars, to give you exactly zero advantage over a dollar store scissor.
"Yes, but the craftsmanship!!!!"
Ahhh yesss the craftsmanship, of course. You can see that from the way the rust accumulates if you leave it out in the open. You see how stainless steel with zero tolerance designed by people who studied metallurgy and mechanical engineering and ergonomics can never outcompete the craftsmanship. Yes, yes, it's great. And you keep it out on the bench so that people can see you're super cereal you guys about Japanese blacksmiths.
