Japanese Red Pine in Florida

Does anyone have experience with Japanese Red Pine in South Florida? Japanese Black Pine grows great down here, and I know that JRP preferences are similar, but do any of you know for sure?

Japanese Red Pine is extremely winter hardy. I'd be surprised if they tolerate South Florida's heat, particularly in winter. (That said, I don't have experience with them in S. FL.)

Winter temperatures here in Boca Raton average in the high 60s – a bit lower by the water where I live. I'm on the fence about giving JRP a try.
