I bought this turntable to replace my $15 cake decorating one that has worked good for years. This new one is 21 inches wide and can handle a lot of weight. I put it under this big tree and it turns with just a fingertip of pressure. Very low profile and not wobbly at all. Doesn't lock but I know I will get a lot of use out of it.

Grimmy uses a door stop.
Or a door holder....

Depending who you ask.

Great idea. Thanks. I was thinking about making some elaborate way of locking it. Simple door stop.

That's a really nice turn table, too nice imo.

I'd prefer one that wasn't wood for working on trees. I have a plastic TV turntable that I bought from Amazon. I've has it for 5 year so far and it still works great. Think I paid $20-$25 for it. There are different sizes.

Not sure if that's the exact one because my phone is being stupid about displaying the page correctly, but it looks just like that one
