Nursery stock Elm, some basic and some styling questions

Is been a few difficult months. As I'm sure they have been for most people. I hope everyone is surviving.

Just thought I'd post its current picture.

It was my only "bonsai" to have fall color change so I enjoyed it.

Oh it does! THis has given me the courage. I will be aggressive with cuts and pruning (especially roots) this spring!
