I’m absolutely speechless at the caliber of art you presented.. all i can muster is, “nicely done!”.... *still in awe*
Also... nice frackin’ Midget!!!
I used to have a green TR-7 i was working on... the guy I “bought” it from had an MG just like that, but red.... he also had a few more Triumphs.. and a Karma Ghia (sp?).. that he REFUSED to show me...
He was a transplant here... said he missed the rain.
Thank you for sharing this.
(I also wanna know more of HeavilyArmored Offensive vehicle recycling)
Hi
I've never had the Midget on the road as it needs some welding, My left knee got bad and needed replacing, I got a bit done beforehand but it became too painful!, I then had to have the other replaced as it was doing all the work due to pain in the left one!, My son wants the Midget now so really, I have to get it out and carry on with the work, It's one of the rubber bumper (fender) models, They're going down the dump, I'm hoping to get some 3" diameter stainless steel ones made up to replace them, Or go bumperless but the suspension will need dropping then as the car raises up when those horrible big lumps of rubber reinforced with 1/4"steel plate are removed, They weigh in heavy!!
Colin in the Tank pic is my aunt's brother in law (Or was, Her hubby died years ago), He was a burner at a scrap yard, They reduced loads of decomissioned Military tracked vehicles for recycling, He told me he'd be burning through a part when there would be a bang!, A stray bullet that was dropped inside and lodged out of sight suddenly went off due to the heat from the Oxy Propane cutter!!
Colin is the big lad at the rear!
Another pic..
Here's another art piece from my works, A local artist was commissioned to make this image of Pan, He actually had an, er, you could tell it was male but a customer complained so he was emasculated! ☹(They wouldn't play around with Michelangelo's 'David' in such a way
)
From memory, The cost was £16,000, Have to say, I love it but it was spoilt when part of it was removed
