So I really wanted to do a zen garden/bonsai hybrid. I Put aluminum in the bottom to the root ball wont fill this rather large pot, added Hoffman Bonsai soil, a layer of sand right on the surface and reindeer moss around the roots. A little succulent is in there too as is some wild onion (both in a little organic potting soil). I think it looks pretty sharp! The pot is maybe 14"x7"x8". Any obvious mistakes/constructive criticism on this planting?
