I recently purchased some pots from Craigs list. One of those once in a life time lucky buys. A few have hanko's/chops, some have great "feel", some with good patina, with no marking, (some just plain dirty)
I’ve been researching, hanko’s/chops time allowing.

?when looking at hanko, is there a reference to top or bottom in relation to pot? some are faintly stamped and knowing proper orientation would help
one pot I was able to identify from hanko, is a “HAROMATU” , unsigned from Japan, its round 10 inch, 3 cloud feet, with lip, ?can anyone give me further info?
