Taxus Baccata (Yew) Rooting system

Hi Everyone!

I bought this young little yew tree a while ago. I pruned and wired it 2 months ago. I was planning on leaving it alone for 1 year and then repot it next year march/April.

Now I see some small roots on the surface. Does this mean I need to repot it? Or is it harmless and should I leave it alone?

Please help me out Thanks!

Just cover it with soil/mix and it should be fine.
