The Ultimate UNHINGED Indoor Growing/Overwintering Attempt

Somone reacted to one of my post and brought me back here.

Hey, any update on the temp/ day legnth experiment? It appears the op found great success and disappeared like so many others.

Ah, junipers do well... itoigawas seem to struggle a bit but kishu shimpaku are doing well, they do go dormant just due to daylength, temperature doesn't matter...

Ey cool. Anyways this thread is done for unless the op returns for an update...

By any chance you can make a thread to document what you done? With pics? Progress reports with pics? We could all learn a thing or two on what it takes to grow happy trees indoors.

Fukubonsai is dead, here is Jack Wikle article
any more his writings?

Cedarus - u use normal fridge or fancy beer fridge with transparent door?
im thinking about getting one and converting into growbox

Im curious about indoor growing because i didnt manage to kill my indoor lemons for like 5 years and i hope they stay alive.

Lemons aren't temperate, leave them as they are.. and they're broadleaf so more chances of dessicated.. I use a normal fridge since junipers are dessication hardy... I found out they respond to daylength better than temperature...
