What kind of sharpening tool/stone do you use to sharpen your tools?
I have many stones from wet/oil stones to the diamond sharpening blocks and folding version that is only about an inch wide which works great with my shears. I sharpen everything tool or knife I have and can get then sharp enough to shave the hair off my arm but I can't seem to get the edge back on my concave cutters that they came with new.

Any tips or advice?

I am using mostly a diamond sharpening block. The secret with the cutters is knowing how the 2 edges close properly. Note that they do not meet. I sharpen the "outer" blade on the outside and the "inner" blade in the inside so I do not mess the gap much.

I have the mind of just using a strop like leather loaded with rouge. On curved cutters, I use the same treatment but the inside is a lot trickier. I just use one of my Dremel's diamond bit to do the inside but use it MANUALLY. I assume the round diamond file like sharpener would be ideal for this.

I use these 3M diamond files that I saw Peter Warren use to sharpen his tools on a uTube video. Works really well.

You're very welcome. Try to find Peter's video. Then entire video was just on sharpening. I'd never sharpened my tools before and afterwards, I wondered afterwards what took me so long to do it

not a huge fan of the dinky smaller sharpeners .... but then again I don't use concave cutters so have no need to sharpen them

Ang3lfir3 that is what I use on my shears!! Works better than anything I have used so far.
