Bill Valavanis posted a note over on Bonsai Study Group that Warren Hill is selling off his bonsai collection at his Greenville, TN, home due to "serious health problems." This sale is scheduled for this coming Saturday March 9th from 10 am till 6 pm.
I hope Warren is OK. I remember him as a generous, funny guy when he was curator of the National Arboretum's bonsai collection a decade or so back.
He took me on a behind the scenes tour of the Arb's bonsai pot collection. Put a probably $25,000 antique Chinese bonsai pot in my hands and said "you probably shouldn't drop that."
His bonsai can be seen here

Apparently he's selling everything from specimens, semi-worked trees, seedlings. Prices range from $25 to $25,000. Wish I could get down there...
