Hey yall, it's been a while! We moved!
Beautiful neighborhood and a private yard moving up in the world. The space seems pretty shady, Im hoping for better sun in the peak of the Summer, we'll have to see.

I sawed and sanded some pieces of plywood at work today to go into a rack that my tropicals will be weathering the Winter in:

Did a test run on it for weight and it seems good to go. I didn't get a picture of my too-many tropicals

But I did finally get a chance to set up a bench for my hardy guys to chill for the rest of the Fall.

That particle board wont last long with the humidity and watering. Something to think about and keep an eye on.

@Orion_metalhead I dont plan on raising the humidity at all, I haven't in the past and my plants have always fared well. But I did water-seal the plywood! And most plants have their own saucers final resting place for that shelf will be my bedroom, just to clarify!

I was looking forward to that meeting but unfortunately couldn’t make it last minute. Looked like an amazing turnout!

Finished another image of a recently styled subalpine fir from 2-3 weeks ago. Just 4-5 more raw yamadori initial styling left for me this Fall.

After attending a boxwood bonsai social at a club member's house yesterday, I was raring to do something. Not the right time of year, but I've been looking at this mowed and ravaged mulberry 5 feet from the street sign at the end of our little dead-end street. There are plenty of mulberries around here, so if this experiment doesn't work, it's no big loss. Let experiment #837 begin! If they make it, they should make some really gnarly shohin.

I think this is my first juniper, picked up at a demo a few years ago. Slowly working on resolving it into something interesting, struggling. Worked the poker straight trunk this time, think it helps.

Glazed some bisque fired pots. One crackle pot and a scull still waiting to be bisque fired...
