Would you consider commissioning a painting of your tree?

Just curious what people may think of this. Would you have your tree painted for you or buy a painting of a bonsai?

My wife is an artist and she asked if I could have a painting of a bonsai which would it be.. I picked this ficus I’ve seen floating around the internet by mike something, couldn’t find his last name. Anyway here’s the painting.

She's quite good! If she's entirely self taught I'd suggest a class...not because she's not good enough but because it will make her even better rather quickly. Teachers enjoy working with students who have natural talent but she'll also learn from fellow students and having her work critiqued and seeing other work critiqued. She'd enjoy it. Sometimes I miss teaching because people learning are so passionate and excited to learn new techniques. If you live near an art center I'd check it out. If she doesn't like the teacher she should leave and find one she likes.
