How many of you are proactive and consistent with antifungal spraying?

Yep I spray against fungus, though probably not as much as I should.
I use Daconil and copper because that is what is available here.

I also sterilize my tools with alcohol between trees

For what it's worth...

I use this sprayer.

It works really well, has a 4 gallon capacity, and the pump system allows you keep up constant pressure as you move around. The stainless steel wand is also really important and stands up to abuse much better than cheaper plastic wands. Easy-to-use generally means you use it more often. I went through several cheap $20 pump sprayers before I finally spent the money for this. I've used it for several years without an issue and can't believe I used anything else beforehand.

Even though now everything is under plastic, fungus is a terrible problem here. Even for native species. This is the worst time of year. After a warm (relatively) late winter tridents get re-potted, leaf out, then it gets cool and sticky humid and rainy so the leaves keep growing. Then comes the fungus. Not only on maples. I've experimented with many fungicides and for now anyway, mono and di-potassium salts of phosphorus acid keeps the trees mostly free of problems. But I have to be diligent or I'm over my head real quick. I should just get out of the game.
Here's a small trident I didn't re-pot this year with too big leaves. Nice things are happening under the moss. P1020610.jpeg P1020611.jpeg

I got some Neem Oil yesterday....

Does it Actually work on Mites?

Somehow...I must have moved in here just late enough for the mites to reside elsewhere...till fall...

But this year....

They got me.
Got me good.

@sorce Damn sorry to hear! I have a permanent problem with them, Neem works as well as insecticidal soap. I have a daily battle with them with the hose and then I spray everything down 2 times a week. It's helped tremendously but I cannot get rid of them permanently

I use this one:

It's ready to use neem oil.

We are having a bad season of mites this year. I don't have any yet on my junipers but I keep looking every morning.

I'll be spraying all of my trees with Bayer 3 in 1.
It is a fungicide, miticide, and insecticide. Turns my trees toxic. Bugs take a bite and dies. No fungus.
It's a win,win situation.
Easy to apply and lasts 3 months in the tree.

The mites down here in GA laughed at the Bayer... they went on vacation to Alabama for maybe a week after I sprayed then came back all liquored up and belligerent!

I'm with @Giga , I'm in the yard tending trees everyday so i inspect almost everyone daily . Treat as needed or if I'm unsure I go ahead and treat . I keep a couple of sprayers , one for fungacide and one for pesticide. I've had some issues with fungus on my pines this year, and then usual deciduous massacre every year

I spray year round where i live,i live on the woods edge n with my weather,im asking for trouble if i dont

I spray daconil regularly on my conifers and sometimes on other trees if needed. I only use insecticide if needed and my first option is normally a neem/soap spray. I avoid systemic insecticides generally but will use for juniper scale if needed.

I also clean my tools with alcohol between trees always and when finished. I never use an unsterilized tool.

I have OCD and bonsai is the perfect hobby! One can always find something to be dysfunctional about.

Did you hear about the dyslexic, agnostic, insomniac? Laid awake every night wondering if there really was a Dog.
