After a 1 yr wait and 2000+ miles, this Rocky Mountain Juniper is home! Thank you Dusty Kraft for the assistance and care of this tree. I'm Colorado is beautiful, elk chops are my new favorite meat, great margaritas, 6 mile hike to the summit, and some great natural scenery.

Very interesting material. Outstanding potential. Worth the wait and the time to develop. Great acquisition! Take your time enjoy the transition.

I second what Leo said. I'm jealous! Elk burgers are good too.

Thank you, lots of sun, water, and Biogold. Then I hope to work with Bjorn or Mauro in the future.

Great direction to take. The opportunity to discuss potential with accomplished professionals is a wonderful learning experience. For something of this quality, i would envision a private day of exploring all the options and mapping out the basic plan for future development. Shorter follow up sessions are also desireable over the first few years.
There is great value in the creative input and suggested timing of an accomplished professional. I have never met Mauro, but have spent a little time with Bjorn. I think Bjorn is a great choice. If you were on the west coast i would suggest Boon for that tree!

Thank you! Bjorn is an amazing artist with great talent.

I like the way the foliage provides a pleasing framework for the deadwood. Will only improve with density and ramification. Very nice beginning!
Thank you. I visited your site. How do I see available yamadori?

Well, my nursery operates on a very personal basis. Appointment only in person or visitation during one of the two Open Houses per year. I only sell locally or to those who can pick up and transport their selections. I do not ship trees or attempt to sell via the media!
Yamadori are in high demand and are usually reserved well before they are released for sale! Keep in mind that I run a one person operation and collect fewer trees rather than large quantity. It is a lot of work for someone my age and so unless I consider the quality outstanding I leave it in the ground! I can only carry one tree at time and the sites are high elevation.

Showed my son the pics and all he kept saying was "daaaamn.....daaaamn" Lol Who did you end up working on it with? Bjorn or Mauro?
Mauro Stemberger. I mostly work with him.

I live in Colorado. How did you get a permit for a juniper? I’ve been hitting a wall with rangers in my local national forest. Also what elevation was this collected at?
