Sorry for the delay with these photos but we were very busy with the Kobayashi Advanced Bonsai Techniques & Bonsai Display intense two day seminar following the National Bonsai Exhibition.
Over 225 beautiful bonsai masterpieces were gathered at the Monroe Community Hospital Auditorium for display at the 2010 2nd US National Bonsai Exhibition on June 12-13, 2010. There were 95 exhibitors from 27 states who brought their trees, some from as far as Seattle, WA, San Francisco, CA and San Juan, PR.
Kunio Kobayashi (Japan), Farrand Bloch (Holland) and David Easterbrook (Canada) judged the exhibition and each filled out an evaluation sheet for every bonsai on display. Marco Invernizzi, Kunio Kobayashi and Dr. Alice Chen presented demonstrations. Friends from around the world were made during the weekend.
Additional information will be forthcoming in the next issue of International BONSAI. Complete information on every bonsai with formal studio photos will be in the Commemorative Album which will be published later on this year.
The 3rd US National Bonsai Exhibition will be held on June 9-10, 2012 in Rochester, New York. Now is the time to begin preparing your bonsai for this exciting event.
