Artisans Cup of Portland

Well, we still have the Dallas Bonsai/B nut contest, don't we? Of course, the artisans cup will be a very high end exhibition. However, nothing wrong with filling the time having fun and enjoying a friendly internet "instant bonsai" competition.;)

Is This The Year? Or Cancelled Again?

Bill Valavanis and his band of followers have done an excellent job with US Nationals. Will Artisans Cup happen on the west coast in a few months or will it be pushed out to 2017. Seems like the best kept secret so far...

Michael Hagedorn says its on. He is one of the organizers along with Ryan so he should be a pretty reliable source.

Thank you for the link that you and Judy sent. I read the "Comments/Responses" at the bottom of the link and Michael says the Ryan is the organizer. If Michael says its on I believe him. My concern is two years ago the organizers did not release the cancellation information until it was a rumor on fb.com. The cancellation was not handled well. I'm sure this time it will be a first class exhibition with great bonsai trees. Thanks again for update.
