I had this Hornbeam a couple years and sold it in the last image. i had to remove the large straight trunk seen in first image. created a large hollow in its place. this gave the tree two credible fronts, right away.

Ficus nerifolia. This was a bonsai for 50 years in the care of a relative before it was passed on to me after his death in 2014. I chopped the snot out it and started over with a fat stumpy trunk. Much better now.
