Yep, it’s amazing how losing 55 pounds makes that juniper look like a pine 6 years later.
Sausalito is a great town, BTW. Our family stayed at Cavello Point a few years ago and really enjoyed the area.

Yes, a Water Oak (quercus nigra). There's a thread on it down in the other deciduous forum.

One heck of a personal transformation.

Sausalito is great. We moved here mid-pandemic to escape concrete and construction. Certainly hasn't disappointed.

Hard to beat the morning views at Cavallo. Seems like northern California has something like that every few miles.

Wow it looks like the tree has developed nicely since 2016 and the leaves have really reduced well. these oak leaves in nature are usually very large. How tall is this tree? And I will definitely go check out the thread! It’s a nice tree!
