Clay for pots

I was talking with a friend that dose pottery and she wants to make me some bonsai pots. She ask me what clay to use and I was like .........
So what is the best hight fire clay in y'all's opinion for bonsai pots?

Sorry I planned on "branching" my hobby that way but didn't so cannot help you.

There are good cheap books that may help you. Check Amazon and read the reviews...usually they are spot on and haven't failed me yet. Good luck!
