What would be a good measurement of rootball to take out when collecting azaleas. I have several more to get this week, and i seem to be getting large rootballs, but havent worked with azaleas as far as collecting them, and was looking for as much info as i can. Is it best to leave the rootball in tact, or put into new soil? Ive been putting them into large plastic containers, and filling around the edges with bonsai soil, but if there is a better way?
