I went to see a movie in Belgium. It was an American movie, but it was dubbed in French with Flemish and English sub-titles. The funny thing was that the actors were originally speaking English, and the English they were speaking didn't match the English sub-titles. I think they dubbed it in French and then hired a French translator to translate it back into English. It was pretty confusing to figure out what was going on

I had a similar experience when in Egypt... We were on a bus in the middle of the night, going through the desert, and our driver kept falling asleep and running off the road...
They had a TV, that was playing and Elvis movie... can't remember the name? The one where they are in Hawaii dancing and singing at a Luau...

The sound was English, but translated obviously by an Arabic Translator back into English Subtitles... and it was nothing close!
Did make the drive and the yelling and throwing shit at the driver to wake up, more pleasant!
