My neighbors raise exotic animals. No kidding, I went to the local flea market and saw them there with all these crazy ass lizards, snakes, praire dogs, skunks, and two alligators. Swear to god I even saw them carry a joey into their house once. Seriously I mean, a baby fucking kangaroo. And I've been drug free for close to 3 years now. That was some crazy shit. I haven't been brave enough to visit them at their home...even though they are directly across the street from me. But maybe they think I'm crazy, I have a backyard full of plants.

Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it, this guy seems to not have mastered the 90% aspect yet. Maybe trapped in his self destructive cognitive functions? If I was in the same situation with a guy like that around my wife, I wouldn't even hire him in the first place, I sure as hell would drive him off very quickly...life's too short to go tickle the lions balls with a little blade of grass. Not that I want to drive you paranoid but, you've made quite a few posts about this situation, seems it is bothering you quite a bit, and the fact that his co-workers are also worried? Hope the situation works itself out soon,

The guy wigs me out...I mean, a brief dating back in high school. He sure seems to have remembered more than actually went on. Though agrees it was brief when I stated as much as well as we were never serious.He works for our sub...and we did stop using that sub for three years because of this situation. Though...it had only got to the point of his always telling my husband he once dated me. Why we reverted back to using this sub. Awhile back...my husband had some medical issues. This sub is a good friend and rallied around us and helped us get jobs done while my husband wasn't 100% up to doing the task. We've had this friendship with this sub for many of years...why let one brief encounter with a guy I dated back in school...ruin what we have with our friend...and a superb sub contractor. It was actually I who told my husband that to not use Paul would be giving this ex to much power. Which we gave him to much already by not using him for the past few years. So I felt in using the sub...we took the reigns back...and are showing this one. Yeah our friendship is larger than who and what you are. The following around on FB when we weren't friends...a bit weird when he is boosting to my husband we once dated. Which is why I blocked him...so he can't see what I say or am doing. I think we sort of have him in his place. He's no longer referencing of dating...and though he's mad as a hatter no doubt. I think it burns him more that those around him think highly of me. Maybe he regrets where he's at in his life...my home screams home and family. Top that with...I'm an excellent cook. My husband has been here when they are working next door assisting...making sure he's seen. That makes me feel safe...and secure. I enjoy having Paul back in our lives...our sub contractor. He's a wonderful guy/friend. The ex is a good worker...so he can't technically get rid of him. I respect that aspect...we are adults here. But he did learn I'm not mousy...for that I am not. Never was...
Edit: His co-workers haven't said they were concerned...but our employees have voiced concern for the way this one is so hung up in the past. Almost 27 years ago in the past.

I hope he doesn't loose his blunt honesty though in threads. I honestly think...sometimes it just happens to sink in quicker...When tender stepping around topic doesn't as much. Just my thoughts...I know ones who were firm in direction earlier on in my bonsai journey...their words hold true today...and are remembered over those who were less blunt.

The biggest thing that gets my back up is when I feel like I am being talked down to. It can really piss me off.
