Don’t mess around with the roots at this time of year. Potentilla like a lot of water. You can gauge how dry the pot is by weight. It doesn’t look like there’s anything to worry about from the pictures, as long as it drains OK.

Yeah definitely not touching the roots! Just the others I've got it's easy to tell when they need water, this one not so much!

So I'm thinking semi-cascade or informal upright...hopefully get some wire on later today!

So I had a practice wiring a few branches on my other potentilla, found it pretty tricky! They just feel so fragile and delicate. Will possibly have a go at the other tomorrow, can't decide on a style though. Still thinking semi cascade or informal upright... Anyone got any thoughts?
