Please tell me i can use crushed brick as akadama alternative

Yeah silt is grand actually. Retains moisture nicely.

I have only gone after this brick suggestion because of AI mainly, here and there you find discussions on someone thinking of using it or people who reservedly say it works. We're quite limited in Egypt and I'm just glad there's a theory on how to aerate roots ecologically.

That "ecologic" component is key for me. It's why I'll never use akadama.
