Yamadori Lodgepole Pine, collected in 2017, and likely around 60 years old (but maybe up to 80… it’s from a very unique microclimate)

Not even sure what species this is or if it’s conducive to bonsai with those big leaves but it was growing out into my driveway so it got a chop. Cool bark though.

Not sure what the problem is. I can’t attach my bark photos...or other photos in other topics.
It goes through the motions of the % and when it reaches 100% it turns into this:

......and no photo is attached. I did have some decent bark photos though. Not sure what’s happening. Very nice bark photos from others though.

There is an issue where the files are too big, it happens to me too but if you open up Paint or whatever software you have then you can resize the pics and save them again then they upload with no problems. I normally resize mine to 30 percent of original size.

And here is some young bark of a Eucalyptus they will eventually become more fissured, they are known as box eucalyptus types due to the way the bark eventually forms.

Nice...I am seriously addicted to how as this species bark matures...it wrinkles...and how the scars heal over in gnarly looking image.

My own tigerbark ficus ...taken at dusk.
