The Lazy “Four Legged Apprentice” Thread

Mine really got into chewing sticks last night and started chewing on my chinese juniper jins and my serviceberry that died back this year. I guess that's her way of saying I need to take some time and carve my deadwood or she'll do it for me.

She is also telling you that you need to get your trees higher off the ground and out of her reach
I have one that likes to chew branches too and had to raise a couple of my benches that I had low to get them out of his reach

I am staging for a garden tour and the ones on the ground will be hidden in my basement for the tour Sunday. That's not their normal home

Sorry, no competition for the cat and puppy.
lol. Gotta love all life, plus tree frog diet includes a variety of insects like flies, moths, crickets, beetles, ants, and insect larvae. They may also consume spiders, mites, and even other small amphibians on occasion. My dog only eats two of those. :) And they appear lazy, so here we are.

Actually I feel good about seeing this frog. Last week I picked up a watering can on the front porch that was sitting under a bench, and full of rain water & I haven't used it in a while. Looked black and moldy so I dumped it. I poured out a big fat tree frog and had the realization that I could have just poured out tadpoles or eggs. (didn't see any) I felt awful & looked up tree frog birth times in MI. Long story short, I didn't murder any amphibians that I'm aware of.
